Delta Boat Tour & Annual Meeting
June 21-22, 2019
Historic Blakeley State Park

Spanish Fort, AL


On the afternoon of Friday, June 21st, we will embark on a tour of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta with a local outdoor outfitter. Pre-registration is  required for this event. You will find more info on the registration link.

On Saturday, June 22nd there will be an AWW Water Chemistry Recertification Session beginning at 8:00 am. Register Here.  The AWW Annual Meeting will take place at the Wehle Center from 10 am and will conclude by 3 pm. Highlights of the day will include:

AWW  Updates

Keynote Presentation: Presented by Ben Raines, an investigative environmental reporter with the Alabama Media Group, and the director behind “The Underwater Forest.”

Catered Lunch

Volunteer Presentations: AWW volunteers will share some of the ways they got started, have stayed motivated in their monitoring efforts, and their keys to success! Whether you are part of a watershed group, the only monitor in the watershed, or an education volunteer, you will gain some helpful tips.

AWW Awards Ceremony: We will celebrate a few of the volunteers who have gone above and beyond in 2019.
